Mad- Hatter

Inspiration Hits Me in the Head.
I scored some fabric remnants yesterday for under a dollar!

I had no idea what I was going to do with it,
but how could I turn down
a deal like this?

So, I came home and proceeded to research hats online.
Why hats?
I really don't know, it just hit me out of
nowhere.

 Pattern (A)
After a little basic math with a ruler and some paper,
I came up with this pattern.

I wasn't even sure how it would turn out...

YA
This hat will fit a XL(23inches) to a XXL (24inches).

I think the flower works too. :)

I think this hat looks great with the brim up .

It turned out really cute!
I would have liked it to be a little fuller on the top,
but still....CUTE!

I still have some fabric left.
So, back to the drawing board to try a new design.

BTW~ If you noticed the manikin head was painted?
I borrowed it from my niece, Jordan, she did all the artwork herself.
As I've said, 'If it sits still long enough around here, it'll get painted. '
