My home is full of these kinds of treasures. In fact I would rather have found treasures than brand new items, they have a more
character.
Nothing against the newest trend, but seriously, we poor folks have been doing this since...well, forever, and from necessity! Plus, we've learned that most discarded furniture was bought back when they used actual wood and not that cheap crap with the vainer glued on top.
Decorative Mirror~ (free)
Beveled mirror~ Thrift store find. Cost: $10.00
The JUNK stores I use to frequent are no longer just for us old junkers, but are now being called...
B-O-U-T-I-Q-U-E-S. (La-dee-da! )
All that old furniture is being snatched up and faux-painted
to be re-sold for a mint.
But no worries, because there is plenty of junk to go around, and knowing that your junking addiction is actually saving the planet!
Vanity hinged- mirror found at Goodwill. Cost $5.00
